With a kick-off event in the Munic City Library in Sendling, on the 8th of December 2016, asylplus e.V officially started as a new partner of the Cisco Networking academy.
Ever since then, asylplus offered a variety of IT courses for refugees and asylum seekers, that are based on online or blended learning.
The participants could gain a lot of digital skills as well as important certificates.
The result is stunning: 37 certificates!
A lot of other IT courses are currently being offered.
With 121 active course participants we are the 9th biggest academy in Bavaria from overall 70 academies.
We are very proud of the female quota of our participants: 23%, the highest one in all of Bavaria.
The statistics show how great our development from 2017 to 2018 was with a percentage of +83,3%.
It’s a very strong development. It proves to us, that we are going the right way. It motivates us even more.
Our goal for 2018 is, to train more refugees and to provide more graduates with Cisco certificates.
